This page explains how Weynear protects accounts, content, and transactions, and what we expect from users to keep the platform safe.

Account protection

We want account access to be strong without making sign-in painful.

  • Use strong credentials and keep your login methods up to date.
  • Enable any recovery or verification steps offered by the app.
  • Sign out of shared devices and protect recovery codes or sessions.

Private communication

Messages and voice notes are designed so only the intended participants can understand the conversation on Weynear.

  • Messages and voice notes use encrypted transport where supported.
  • Only the intended participants should be able to make sense of a conversation.
  • Do not share keys, codes, or access tokens with untrusted parties.

Security banners and trust indicators may change as the app updates its protection model.

Transaction safety

Use a careful review step before you confirm any payment or marketplace action.

  • Review counterparties, amounts, rates, and delivery details before you confirm anything.
  • Use private chat for sensitive negotiations and avoid moving outside the app too early.
  • Report suspicious listings, impersonation, or payment abuse right away.

Platform defenses

We use layered controls to reduce spam, abuse, fraud, and automated misuse.

  • We monitor for spam, abuse, fraud, and suspicious automation.
  • We may rate-limit, challenge, restrict, or remove access when needed to protect users.
  • Security controls can change without notice when there is active risk.

If something looks wrong

Act quickly when you see an unusual sign-in, message, or transaction.

  • Change your password or sign out from all devices if you think an account is exposed.
  • Contact support for account recovery, moderation review, or suspicious activity.
  • Use the Help Center for urgent safety concerns or security questions.

We may ask for extra verification before restoring access or changing sensitive details.

Ongoing improvements

Security is a continuous process, not a one-time setting.

  • We may add new protections as the app grows or risk changes.
  • We keep reviewing trust, abuse, and recovery flows so the product stays usable and safe.
  • The goal is to keep people safe without making the product hard to use.
