Advertise with Weynear

Promote a post, a marketplace listing, or a community. The system is built around boosts, not generic display ads: the server picks eligible placements, ranks them with eCPM, and inserts them into the feed.

Post

Boost a post

Give a high-signal post more reach in the main feed or local feed.

Marketplace

Boost a listing

Surface an offer or product where local intent is strongest.

Community

Boost a community

Grow a community by surfacing it to relevant users.

How it works

The boost engine inserts promotion into the feed

The engine runs in the hot path, ranks campaigns by effective value, and places only server-approved content. The client renders what the server returns; it does not choose the slot.

How advertising works here

What you can boost

PostsMarketplace listingsCommunities

Promotions lift content into the main and local feeds. The same system can promote a high-signal post, a listing that needs reach, or a community that should be discovered by the right audience.

How the ranking works

Campaigns are ranked by effective cost per mille, not raw bid alone. The engine multiplies cost-per-click by predicted click-through rate, so quality and relevance matter.

eCPM = CPC × predicted CTR × 1000

High bid without engagement does not win the slot.

Safety rails

Promotions are not allowed to over-deliver or bypass review

Budget is decremented before delivery, moderation can approve or reject but cannot rewrite pricing, and the system avoids the usual ad-network problems by keeping the primitive narrow.

What this is not

No banner network

The app does not bolt on a third-party display network.

The search service injects promotions into the feed.
There is no cross-platform retargeting layer.

No pre-roll or generic display ads

The primitive is promotion, not classic ad inventory.

No video pre-rolls.
No open-ended banner placements.

Lifecycle

From budget funding to active delivery

The flow is intentionally simple so advertisers can understand exactly what they are paying for and what happens at each step.

Useful details

Quality floor

Raw bid alone does not win. Predicted CTR matters, so the system prefers content that is both relevant and likely to be clicked.

Budget model

Campaigns are funded up front. The wallet side handles escrow, while the delivery side spends against the remaining budget.
